About GlobeDoc Research Hub

Mission

GlobeDoc Research Hub is a non-profit research hub working towards a free, global, patient co-owned health record. Like Wikipedia and The Guardian, it is committed to remaining free, independent and of the highest scientific quality, always. Our work is guided by one aim: to confer the greatest benefit on humankind.

Open development

The GlobeDoc platform is live and developed continuously and openly. Substantial work exists across several repositories and is now being consolidated. This is a long-term effort that depends on many contributors, in the spirit of Wikipedia: developers, clinicians and researchers who want to help build a patient co-owned health record for everyone.

Governance

GlobeDoc Research Hub is a Swedish non-profit association, currently in formation. It is governed by an elected board and audited by an independent auditor. Its statutes will be published here once registration is complete.

The association aims, when financially possible, to establish the GlobeDoc Foundation to develop, operate and maintain GlobeDoc Research Hub.

Board: see People.
